Talk/Poster Preparation
Plenary talks:
Allocated time slots for plenary talks are 60 minutes. The talks should be 45-50 minutes long, followed by 10-15 minutes discussion. Speakers can bring their own laptops, which will then be connected to our projector. It is possible to bring the talk as Powerpoint file or pdf file on a flash drive, in this case we will provide a computer (Mac or PC) for presentation.
Invited student talks:
Allocated time slots for invited student talks are 20 minutes. The talks should be 15 minutes long, followed by 5 minutes discussion. Speakers can bring their own laptops, which will then be connected to our projector. It is possible to bring the talk as Powerpoint file or pdf file on a flash drive, in this case we will provide a computer (Mac or PC) for presentation.
Posters and Poster session:
Everyone is encouraged to bring and present a poster. If you chose to present a poster, please provide us with a title and a 3-sentence abstract as soon as possible (tjanovec@unl.edu). Posters may be prepared in either portrait or landscape format. A typical poster size is 36" x 48" or similar. Poster boards will be provided. 5 posters will be selected by reviewers to receive a best poster award.
